FAQs for Group Breathwork Sessions

6

Do I need experience with Breathwork?

1

Not at all. Whether you're brand new or have an established practice, you'll be guided every step of the way.

What happens during a session?

2

Each week includes simple, practical breathing techniques you can use in everyday life, followed by a guided Breathwork experience centered around a different theme—such as grounding, focus, self-compassion, or emotional balance. You'll leave with tools you can continue using throughout your week.

Will breathwork bring up deep emotions or trauma?

Do I need to keep my camera on?

Will I have to share or talk about personal experiences?

3

No. This is not a processing group. Sharing is always optional, and you're welcome to simply participate in the breathing practices and reflect privately on your own experience.

Is this like therapy?

4

No. While the practices are trauma-informed and grounded in nervous system education, this group is not therapy or a substitute for mental health treatment. The focus is on building regulation skills, increasing body awareness, and creating space to reconnect with yourself.

The practices used in this group are intentionally gentle and regulation-focused. While emotions may naturally arise from time to time, the purpose is not to access or process deep trauma. If you're doing individual therapy, many people find these practices complement that work by strengthening nervous system regulation and creating a greater sense of safety and resilience.

For safety and guidance during the breathwork practice, participants are asked to keep their camera on. This allows me to offer support if needed while still honoring your privacy and comfort.
