FAQs
How long are sessions?
1
While most sessions last about 60 minutes I intentionally create space before and after each session to allow for flexibility. This allows time to settle in, for grounding, processing and integration without feeling rushed. First sessions are likely to be at least 75 minutes. This allows time to review your intake form responses, discuss your intentions, answer questions and ensure the experience is tailored to your needs.
What happens once I book a session?
2
Once your session is scheduled, you'll receive a confirmation email with everything you need to prepare, including your intake form, liability waiver, Zoom link, and simple instructions to help you create a comfortable and supportive space for your session.
How are sessions held?
3
All individual sessions are offered virtually via Zoom from the comfort of your own space. For virtual sessions, you will need to set up your computer or phone, so I can see you while you breathe. The session will be a private experience in whatever space you have chosen for yourself. As your Breathwork Facilitator, I will guide you through the journey of active breath, release, and meditation until the end of the session, where you can rest and enjoy space to process post-session.
What happens during a session?
4
We will begin by connecting, discussing what is present for you, and exploring an intention for the session. Together, we'll create a supportive space that honors your unique needs, comfort level, and goals for the experience.
From there, I'll guide you through a personalized Breathwork experience accompanied by music, gentle prompts, and opportunities for self-reflection. Sessions may incorporate less then 7 minutes of active breathing (integrative session) or more than 8 minutes intentional breathing (meditative session). I also may bring in mindfulness, visualization, nervous system regulation tools, or parts-work inspired exploration, depending on your needs and intentions.
The overall experience takes you on a deep journey. We will close with time for reflection, integration, and discussion of any insights, emotions, or sensations that emerged during the session.
